Where am I exactly?
I have no idea. Wandering somewhere between forty and fifty I suppose. On the thin line of being and becoming, the one you can almost make out in the distance. Searching? I guess so, though I have no idea what for. I know by now what I don’t want but I am not all that sure of what I do. They say whittling away possibilities is all part of the process and that you know you have arrived when you only have one left. Mine seem endless at the moment. When I was younger I assumed I would be down to a handful by now, not more. Seems I have a long way to go.
I get the feeling sometimes that something larger is afloat. It’s like there’s something really, really, big hanging out just around the corner, waiting to make an entrance. Like it’s already arrived and its just passing time until the curtain call comes. While we await the conductor’s cue and the next act to start, I thought I would jot down a few things of interest and perhaps, when appropriate, even mention a few of them out loud. Most of the times they just spin around in my head coming in and out as need be and/or as they see fit. I think it’s a good time to let a few escape and breath, to take on a life of their own.
Enjoy the ride…
